Ceylon aka “True” Cinnamon

Did You Know that most of the cinnamon found in the spice aisle isn’t cinnamon at all but cassia cinnamon? Ceylon cinnamon (cinnamomum verum) aka true cinnamon comes from the inner bark of a Sri Lankan Evergreen Tree. What are the most common health benefits Ceylon Cinnamon? Well my friends, let me tell you:

  • Helps control blood sugar
  • Known for an anti-bacterial benefits
  • Improves blood lipid profiles
  • Serves as an anti-inflammatory
  • It improves digestion

Triphala and Gugul Powder

Triphala and Gugul has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Ithelps to support bowel health and aid digestion. Powerful antioxidant, helps to detoxify the body and support the immune system.

Triphala and Gugul Powder contains powerful anti-inflammatory compounds that may help protect against certain cancers and other chronic diseases. Studies have shown Triphala may help treat constipation, promote weight loss and  resolve dental issues (gum).

Take Triphala between meals on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. 1/2 tsp can be mixed with warm water and honey.

Organic Kale Powder 

Just 1-2 teaspoons of this powerhouse in a daily health drink or smoothie adds a ton of healthy nutrients to your diet!  Kale Powder also contains dietary fiber, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, iron, magnesium and phosphorus, high amounts of beta carotene and vitamin C. Did You know that  Kale is a good source of beta-carotene? Beta- carotene is  the carotenoid that the body converts into vitamin A as it needs it. Also rich in minerals.

Japanese Ceremonial Matcha 

Matcha was originally only served as a ceremonial beverage during traditional tea ceremonies in Japan. Nowadays, matcha is used for a wide variety of food, smoothies and drink recipes. But did you know that Matchas has Ceremonial Grade and Cooking Grade? Ceremonial grade is the highest matcha grade made from the youngest tea leaves, also has the highest nutritional profile:  high in a catechin called EGCG , helping to prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes  and even encouraging weight loss.

Ginseng Root 

Some studies have found that Ginseng Root may help to rebuid the immune system. Siberian Ginseng extract helps to prevent colds in adults. Ginseng helps to improve athletic performance, may treat sleep problems (insomnia) and the symptoms of infections caused by herpes simplex type.  Use: 1 tsp in warm water, teas, smoothies.

Spirulina Powder

 Rich in nutrients, iodine,  vitamins and both fatty and full profile amino acids. Helps to decrease inflammation, tones the skin and encourages cell turnover to promote a more glowing and  youthful-looking skin. You can stir a small spoonful of spirulina powder into a glass of water aka shot glass and drink it straight, or you can add some to a smoothie.

Broccoli Powder (Sulforaphane) 

Sprouted Broccoli Extract aka Sulforaphane increases enzyme activity which promotes age-defying and anti-inflammatory properties, detoxifies and protects skin and increases cellular integrity. High in Vitamin A – naturally knowns as the highest antioxidant.

Raw Cacao Theobroma Powder

Use: 1 tsp in water, smoothies.

Spinach Powder

Spinach powder provides an excellent way to boost your daily intake of vegetables and greens. Spinach Powder is packed full of a long list of vitamins and minerals including iron, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin K.
